Caroline Schork Named A-10 Rookie of the Week

The Freshman Scored Her First Career Goal In #UDWSOC's 2-0 Win At La Salle

WASHINGTON, D.C. – University of Dayton women's soccer freshman Caroline Schork was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week by the conference on Monday afternoon.
 
Schork scored her first career goal in the Flyers' road win over La Salle to kick off Atlantic 10 play. The Medina, Ohio native found the back of the net off a perfect feed from Karli Ferguson, giving Dayton a 2-0 advantage in the 82nd minute.
 
The freshman has played in all nine matches on the season, averaging 34.3 minutes per contest.
 
Saturday's victory was the first for the Flyers at La Salle since the 2009 season.
