HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Matt Buse shot a first round 76 as the Dayton Flyers opened the 2013 spring season at the Wexford Intercollegiate.
Buse was four over par and completed the first round in a tie for 35th.
Andrew Steffensmeier was close behind with a 77. He ended the day tied for 39th.
The Flyers finished round one in 18th after compiling a team score of 314.
Frost delayed the start of round one by an hour this morning. Each squad has approximately five holes left in round two. The teams will complete the second round on Tuesday morning and then play the final round immediately after.
Sean Keating carded an 80, while John Muir fired an 81. Brenten Blakeman completed the scoring with an 84.
