Live Stats/Video LinksDAYTON, Ohio - Dayton volleyball will close out the 2014 regular season at home against La Salle and Duquesne this weekend. The Flyers will play host to the Explorers Friday at 7 p.m. and will square off against the Dukes Sunday for Senior Day at 1 p.m. Next weekend, University of Dayton will host the 2014 Atlantic 10 Volleyball Championship at Frericks Center.
Scouting La SalleLa Salle (10-19, 3-9 A-10) has lost its last two and three of its last five matches but the Explorers have posted double-digit wins for the first time since 2007. Kelly Perillo leads the Explorers offensively with 2.88 kills/set (10th A-10) while also passing 2.77 digs/set. At the net, Ashley Felton records 0.61 blocks/set and Michelle Healy serves as La Salle's primary setter with 9.10 assists/set (7th A-10).
Scouting DuquesneDuquesne (16-9, 9-3 A-10) will be fighting for a top seed and first-round bye for the conference tournament in its matches this weekend, much like Dayton. The Dukes are currently enjoying a nine-match winning streak and they will square off against the Billikens of Saint Louis Friday before coming to Dayton on Sunday. Duquesne is led by Arielle Love who is hitting at a league-best .430 to go with 3.49 kills/set (6th A-10) and 1.21 blocks/set (3rd A-10).
Series Stuff• Dayton and La Salle have had 34 meetings all-time, a series that dates back to 1992. The Flyers have won all 34 matches, including a straight-set sweep of the Explorers earlier this season.
• The series between Dayton and Duquesne dates back to Sept. 15, 1990 and the Flyers picked up a 3-0 win over the Dukes. Dayton holds the 37-4 advantage between the two and UD defeated DUQ, 3-1, earlier this year in Pittsburgh.

Tim Horsmon is in his sixth season overall, but first since 2007, as head coach of the Flyers in 2014. His record at Dayton is 152-48 and his overall win-loss mark sits at 328-212 in 16 seasons as a head coach.
• The Flyers have won 17 of their last 18 contests, 11 of which were in three straight sets. UD is currently enjoying an eight-match win streak, the team's second-longest of the season.

Alaina Turner leads the team and the Atlantic 10 while ranking fourth nationally with 0.58 service aces/set. She also leads the league and ranks 19th nationally with 4.99 points/set. Additionally, Turner ranks in the top 25 nationally in five other categories, including fourth in service aces (60) and 12th in total attacks (1,230).

Amber Erhahon ranks second in the conference and 28th nationally with a .391 hitting percentage. Freshman
Jane Emmenecker ranks first in the A-10 and 30th nationally with 11.10 assists/set while junior
Janna Krafka is second in the A-10 and 79th nationally with 452 digs this season.
• With 170 team service aces, Dayton ranks 12th nationally out of 150 teams ranked by the NCAA. The team also ranks 14th with 1.63 aces/set, 16th with 272 total blocks and 34th with 1,422 team kills.
• Dayton has won the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title 10 times (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2001, 1998). The Flyers have won the A-10 Championship title eight times (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2003) and have made nine NCAA appearances in program history.
• Over the last six seasons (2009-2014), the Flyers have recorded a 76-9 mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play, including a perfect 14-0 mark in 2012 and a 15-0 record in 2010. UD suffered only one conference loss in 2011 and 2009, posting a 14-1 record both years. So far in 2014, the Flyers are 11-1 in league action.
RPI RankingsDayton heads into this week's matches holding a RPI (Rating Percentage Index) ranking of 94 according to ncaa.com. Duquesne is behind UD, coming in at 146, and La Salle is at 258.
13th to 1,000With two wins at the season-opening Bowling Green Hampton Inn Invitational, Dayton has surpassed the 1,000-win mark as a program and is just the 13th NCAA DI team to attain that level of success. The Flyers currently rank 13th all-time in the Division I record book with an overall program tally of 1,022-556 (.648) over 44 seasons (1970).

Janna Krafka has also passed 1,000 ... career digs. With her 33 digs at the BGSU Hampton Inn Invitational, she reached the 1,000-dig mark for her career. With 1,419 career digs, Krafka now ranks fifth all-time in the UD career record book. She is only 10 digs behind Cathy Wojciechowski (1990-93) who ranks fourth with 1,429 career digs.
Emmenecker Setting Her Way into the UD Record BookFreshman setter
Jane Emmenecker passed the 1,000-assist mark during the Flyers' match against Saint Louis on Oct. 25. She averages 11.10 assists/set (1st A-10) and has a total of 1,154 assists so far this season. With 1,461 assists in 2006, former Flyer All-American Erin Schroeder holds the fifth-most single-season assists total - Emmenecker needs 307 more assists to break into the UD record book.

Amber Erhahon are two tough blockers to get past. Hannan is averaging 1.20 blocks/set and Erhahon averages 1.13 blocks/set which ranks fourth and sixth, respectively, in Atlantic 10 individual standings.

Isolde Hannan is moving up the Dayton career assisted blocks list as the top blocker for the Flyers this season. Hannan has rocketed up the UD record book this season and currently ranks third all-time with 449 block assists. So far this season, she has recorded a team-best 105 BAs and is averaging 1.20 total blocks/set (14 solo blocks). Hannan has now recorded at least 100 assisted blocks in all four seasons she has been a Flyer.
Turn Down for WhatAs the team's kills leader, junior
Alaina Turner consistently produces offensively for the Flyers. She ranks second in the Atlantic 10 and 48th nationally with 4.06 kills/set. Turner also pops up in several other categories in the NCAA National Ranking Summary: fourth in service aces (60) and aces/set (0.58), 12th in total attacks (1,230), 19th in points/set (4.99), 20th in attacks/set (11.83) and 29th in total kills (422).
Consistently AccurateThe team's hitting percentage has improved considerably since the beginning of the season and the Flyers currently rank second in the Atlantic 10, hitting at a .248 clip. In other league rankings,, Dayton is first in opponent hitting percentage (.163) and digs/set (15.72), second in assists/set (12.79), blocks/set (2.62), service aces/set (1.63) and tied for second in kills/set (13.67).

Isolde Hannan was recognized by the Atlantic 10 with a weekly award. On Monday, Nov. 10 Hannan was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week while freshman
Jane Emmenecker was awarded her third A-10 Rookie of the Week honor. Hannan averaged 3.00 kills per set, 2.00 blocks per set and 4.38 points per set in UD's 3-1 win at Saint Louis. Emmenecker recorded her 12th double-double of the season at Saint Louis. The setter from Perrysburg, Ohio, set 48 assists and passed 11 digs while tallying two assisted blocks and one kill.

UD Picked Third in A-10 Preseason PollDayton has been chosen to finish in third place in the Atlantic 10 for 2014. The Flyers, winners of four of the last five A-10 titles, tallied 78 points in voting among the league's head coaches as announced by the conference office Aug. 20. Defending champion Duquesne was selected to win the title, receiving eight first-place votes.
