GAME PREVIEW
• Dayton Baseball hosts Baldwin Wallace at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Time Warner Cable Stadium in non-conference action.
• The Flyers are playing some of their best baseball of the season right now, scoring double-figure runs in two of their last three games, both wins over Atlantic 10 foe Richmond. Dayton is now 7-14 on the season and sits in the middle of the A-10 standings. Head coach Tony Vittorio is in his 15th year with the program and is nearing win No. 400 at UD.
• Baldwin Wallace is 10-6 overall on the year under fourth-year head coach and former Dayton assistant Brian Harrison. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a series split with Heidelberg to open conference play, including a 7-5 win on Saturday. BW has won four of its last five contests and six of its last eight.

SCOUTING THE FLYERS
• The Dayton offense is batting .249 as a team, raising its average by 16 points from last week. The Flyers have nine home runs, 32 steals, and a .354 slugging percentage through 21 games this season.
• Back-to-back A-10 Player of the Week Robby Sunderman leads the team with a .392 average, 19 runs scored, seven doubles, and 11 walks. Zach Schira has chipped in a team-high 18 RBI while Aaron Huesman has 17 RBI and 15 runs.
• The UD pitching staff has combined for a 7.52 ERA and 111 k's in 183 innings. Bryce Lahrman has two saves in relief with Nate Harris adding the other Dayton save. There have been 15 different Flyers on the mound this year as well, including four freshman.
• Getting the start for Dayton will be freshman righty Mark Giesler, who has made one collegiate start and four appearances for the Flyers with a 0-1 record.

SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
• Baldwin Wallace offensively is batting .336 with 41 doubles, 34 stolen bases, and a .402 on-base percentage through 16 games.
• Kyle Chontos and Eric Murphy lead the way with 16 RBI apiece while Mark Zimmerman has added 14 RBI and eight doubles.
• The Yellow Jackets pitching staff has a team ERA of 4.78 with 96 strikeouts and 40 walks in 128 innings of work. Brandon Cichocki is the top reliever with two saves this season.
• Getting the start on Wednesday will be junior righty Brian Tariscka, who has a 0.00 ERA and 11 strikeouts in one start this season, a win for the Yellow Jackets.
