DAYTON, Ohio - The non-conference doubleheader scheduled for this afternoon between the University of Dayton softball team and the visiting Akron Zips has been canceled due to cold temperatures and unplayable field conditions after rain and snow overnight. The games have not yet been rescheduled.

The Flyers will return to action tomorrow with two games against Morehead State at UD Softball Stadium. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. and admission is free.
