JENNA DITUSA TRANSFERRING TO DAYTON WOMEN'S SOCCER

Goalkeeper Played At Bowling Green State University

Jenna DiTusa, a goalkeeper from West Chicago, Ill., is transferring to the University of Dayton to play for the Flyer women's soccer program.

DiTusa, who will be a sophomore next season, is eligible to start play right away during the 2014 season at Dayton.

"We feel very fortunate to be able to add Jenna to our squad," said UD Head Coach Mike Tucker. "Besides adding quality and depth to our goalkeeper position, Jenna is a great fit for our program because she is an excellent student, a great teammate and has a terrific attitude."

She played her freshman season at Bowling Green State University where she saw action in three matches. She started the final three games of the year and played the entire match in each. She had a goals-against average of 1.55, a save percentage of .815 and a total of 22 saves.

DiTusa was a four-year starter at St. Francis, helping the Spartans to an overall record of 74-22-2 during those four seasons, including a state championship in her junior year. She was named the Spartans' Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman, and earned team MVP honors as a sophomore in 2011.

DiTusa was named to the All-Area Team as a junior after earning honorable mention the prior spring. The Spartans won a regional championship in 2010 and won a sectional title in 2011.
