LEXINGTON, Ky. - For the second-consecutive season, senior Alaina Turner has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Midwest All-Region Team. Sophomore Amber Erhahon was also recognized by the national organization on the Midwest Honorable Mention Team.

Turner, the two-time Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and Conference Championship MOP, led the team and the A-10 in 2015 with 4.25 kills/set (32nd NCAA) and ranked third in the league with 0.37 aces/set.

Erhahon was named to the A-10 All-Conference First Team in 2015 and led the A-10 with a .403 hitting percentage (20th NCAA) and ranked second in the league with 1.17 blocks.set.

The Flyers finished the season with a 27-6 overall record after making their second-consecutive appearance in the NCAA Second Round. Turner will now be eligible for AVCA All-American honors which will be announced later this month,
