DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton baseball team will host the University of Toledo on Tuesday before welcoming the University of Akron on Wednesday.
Both games are slated for 4 p.m. start times at Woerner Field in Dayton.

TEAM PREVIEW- Dayton is 9-24 on the year and 3-12 in home games in 2015. The Flyers are currently on a five-game losing streak and coming off a tough series at George Washington this past weekend. Head Coach tony Vittorio is looking to guide the Flyers to a pair of mid-week wins over in-state foes.
- Toledo enters the week with a two-game winning streak and a 12-22 record overall. The Rockets are 6-11 in away games this season and already fell to the Flyers this year back on March 18 at home. Head Coach Cory Mee is in his 12th year with UT.
- Akron is 16-16 overall and 8-12 in road contests in 2015. The Zips have won three in a row and four of their last five games, holding victories over Northern Illinois and Ball State. Akron will host Marshall Tuesday before facing the Flyers in Dayton on Wednesday. Head Coach Rick Rembielak is in his fourth year at the helm of the Zips.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS- Dayton offensively is batting .236 with a .331 slugging percentage and a .331 on-base percentage. The Flyers have 56 doubles and 35 stolen bases on the season.
- Leading the way for UD are seniors Alex Harris, who has eight doubles, 22 runs scored, and 14 RBI, and A.J. Ryan, who has 20 RBI and eight doubles.
- The Flyers' pitching staff has combined for 240 strikeouts and a 4.99 ERA in 296 innings this year.

- Toledo is batting .228 as a team with 45 doubles, 12 home runs, and 19 steals.
- Freshman A.J. Montoya has a team-high 20 RBI to go with 17 runs scored, eight doubles, and five home runs. Fellow newcomer Matt Hansen has chipped in 14 RBI as well.
- The Rockets have struck out 199 batters while walking 170 and posting a 4.74 ERA in 34 games.

- Akron has a .273 team batting average with 40 doubles, 41 stolen bases, and a .352 on-base percentage.
- Senior Joey Havrilak is batting .367 this year to lead the Zips while driving in 19 and hitting 13 extra-base knocks. Sophomore Dom Iero has added 21 RBI and a .291 mark to the effort.
- The pitching staff for the Zips has recorded a team ERA of 3.95 and 203 strikeouts compared to just 86 walks in 32 games.

LAST MEETING- Dayton and Toledo last met on March 18 this season in a 12-6 victory for the Flyers that was hosted by UT. In that contest, Mason Kutruff earned the win for UD and Greg Rhude drove in three runs to help lead the way for the Flyers.
- The Flyers and Zips last met on May 13, 2014 in Akron. Dayton came out on top by a score of 9-2 on the road thanks to a strong pitching performance by Mark Giesler and three RBI from A.J. Ryan.
