MASON, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's tennis team is heading to Mason, Ohio this weekend to compete in the 2015 Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis championship. The Flyers are the fifth seed in the tournament and will face the 12th-seeded La Salle Explorers on Thursday, April 23 at 10 a.m. ET in the tournament's first round.
Dayton enters the tournament on a four-match winning streak while La Salle is looking to snap its seven-match losing streak. The winner of the UD-La Salle game will face fourth seed George Washington on Friday, April 24th at 10 a.m. ET.
Seeding for the championship is determined by the Atlantic 10 seeding committee based on regular season results, rankings and strength of opponents. The A-10 does not play a regular season conference schedule. Every match of the championship will be played at Lindner Family Tennis Center, which has hosted the A-10 Men's or Women's Championships the last three years (2012-14). Admission will be free for the A-10 Championship.
The Flyers finished the regular season with an overall record of 10-8. The 2014-15 University of Dayton men's tennis team is young, only having three upperclassmen on its nine-man roster.
Dayton is led by freshman
Zach Berry who leads the Flyers in singles wins with a 23-5 overall record. Berry's 23 singles wins this season are a Dayton freshman record, and second only to Tom Murphy's 26 wins in 2006-07.The doubles duo of senior

Bernardo Sanson lead the UD doubles teams in wins with an 8-7 record during the regular season.
