DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton softball team recognized four senior team members at its annual banquet Friday night. The event was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Dayton with team and family members along with staff and administrators.
In addition to handing out varsity letter awards to each class, senior
Kayla English was presented with a game ball from her perfect game (the first in program history) from earlier in the season. Each senior was also given a scrapbook of memories by the junior class.
The Flyers close out the home portion of their 2015 schedule this weekend with a three-game series against Massachusetts. First pitch of Saturday's doubleheader is currently scheduled for 12 p.m. at UD Softball Stadium. Sunday, the team's four senior members will be recognized for Senior Day prior to the series finale which is also slated for noon.
