DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton baseball team will play its final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday at Bowling Green. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.

TEAM PREVIEWS
Dayton enters the week with a 14-36 record overall and a 3-16 road mark. The Flyers are currently on a four-game losing skid after dropping three contests at Richmond this past weekend. UD is 3-2 in its last five mid-week games however, and will play its final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday.

Bowling Green is 19-27 on the season and 9-7 in home contests at Steller Field. The Falcons are currently on a three-game losing streak after dropping a series at Kent State this past weekend. Head Coach Danny Schmitz is in his 25^th season at the helm and has over 650 wins in his career.

Dayton offensively is batting .240 with a .333 slugging percentage and a .331 on-base percentage. The Flyers also have 89 doubles and 50 stolen bases through 50 games.

Leading the way for the Flyers are sophomore Matt Poland, who is batting .268 with 19 RBI, and senior A.J. Ryan, who has seven home runs and 24 RBI.
The pitching staff has combined for a 5.54 ERA and 322 strikeouts compared to 229 walks. Freshman Tyson Schnitkey leads the team with 23 appearances while junior Sam Brunner has a team-high five saves.

Defensively, Dayton has a .958 fielding percentage and 82 errors.
 
Bowling Green has a team batting average of .283 to go with 65 steals, 18 home runs, and a .374 slugging percentage.

The Falcons are led by sophomores Trey Keegan and Greg Basalyga, who have combined for 61 RBI and seven home runs. Junior Matt Smith leads the team with a .321 average and Brandon Howard has 32 stolen bases as well.

As far as pitching goes, Bowling Green has a 4.65 ERA and 216 strikeouts in 395 innings of work. Sophomore Tony Landi has three saves on the season with senior Jason Link and freshman Kody Brown both adding a pair of saves each.

Bowling Green has a .956 fielding percentage and 78 errors this season.
