For the third consecutive week, the University of Dayton women's cross country team is 13
th in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Great Lakes Regional Rankings.
The Flyers are coming off a second-place finish at the 2016 All-Ohio Championship at Cedarville University Friday, Sept. 30. Three Flyers finished in the Top 10 (
Taylor Vernot was second,
Chloe Flora was fourth and
Grace McDonald was sixth.)
UD also finished third at Notre Dame's National Catholic Invitational, only behind the nationally-ranked Irish and No. 11 regionally-ranked Marquette.
Dayton took second place at its home meet the
Rich Davis Flyer 5K behind No. 11 regionally-ranked Louisville.
Dayton is back in action at the Bradley Classic on Friday, Oct. 14 in Peoria, Ill. Bradley is ranked No. 13 in the USTFCCCA Midwest Region.
