NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - University of Dayton volleyball had three players recognized by the Atlantic 10 Monday in Co-Player of the Week

Rhode Island's Audrey Castro joined Sloan as Co-Player and VCU's Jasmin Sneed earned Co-Rookie of the Week honors. All awards, presented by Come Ready Nutrition, were for matches played Oct. 24-30.
Sloan averaged 5.00 kills per set while scoring 5.58 points per set for the Flyers over a 2-0 week. On Wednesday, Dayton stepped out of conference play with a sweep of Morehead State; the outside hitter from Marietta, Ga., recorded 12 kills to go with six digs and three blocks. In Friday's sweep of Saint Louis at home, she recorded a match-high 18 kills to go with eight digs and two blocks.
Erhahon led the Flyers averaging 2.50 blocks per set over two wins for Dayton. On Wednesday at Morehead State, she had seven kills with zero errors in 11 attempts for a .636 hitting percentage while also recording in six blocks in a 3-0 win. On Friday, the middle blocker from Albany, Calif., had five kills and nine blocks in a sweep of Saint Louis. For the week, she averaged 2.00 kills per set and 3.25 points per set for UD.
Peterson, an outside hitter from West Liberty, Ohio, averaged 2.67 kills per set and 1.17 blocks per set this past week. At Morehead State on Wednesday, Peterson tallied 12 kills with zero errors in 21 attempts for a .571 hitting percentage while also getting under four digs and recording two blocks. In a sweep of Saint Louis at home on Friday, she had four kills and five blocks for UD.
Dayton, currently enjoying the nation's sixth-longest winning streak at 13 matches, will hit the road this weekend with two games in Pennsylvania. On Friday, Day will be at Duquesne for a 7 p.m. match-up followed by a 1 p.m. meeting at La Salle on Sunday.
