DAYTON UNDONE BY BIG THIRD INNING

Box Score MUNCIE, Ind. – The University of Dayton baseball team fell to Ball State on Saturday, 10-0, in the third game of the series.

The Flyers (3-14) were defeated by the Cardinals (11-9) after the hosts scored all 10 runs in the third inning.

SCORING BREAKDOWN
  • Bottom of 3rd – Ball State opened the scoring and then some in the third with 10 runs in the frame. A throwing error, a wild pitch, a sacrifice fly, and three home runs later, the Flyers found themselves down double digits. Dayton 0, Ball State 10
