• As a pitching staff, Toledo has a 5.41 ERA with 104 strikeouts and 86 walks in 176 1/3 innings.
• The projected starter will be Parker Ruffer, who has yet to make a start this season. He has a 6.75 ERA in three relief appearances.

LAST MEETINGDayton and Toledo met last season on April 14 with the Flyers defending their home field with a 3-0 win over the Rockets.
Matt Poland homered and scored twice in the victory for UD.
Ben Polansky threw a complete game shutout as well.
LAST OUTINGThe Flyers were victorious in the final game of the four-game series at Ball State this past weekend, 3-1. Beaver earned the win on the mound while Piersol got the save. Jones, Giesler, and Poland provided the RBI.
The Rockets dropped a 5-1 decision at Indiana Sunday after a four-run fourth doomed the Rockets. Matt Hansen drove in the lone run for Toledo.
UP NEXTThe Flyers will open up the Atlantic 10 season with Saint Louis starting at home on Friday. It will be a three-game series between the Flyers and Billikens.
