The Flyers and Falcons met last on May 12, 2015 in Bowling Green with Dayton falling 9-1 to BG. Ben Polansky took the loss for the Flyers while Boyd got the win for the Falcons.

LAST OUTING
The Flyers earned Coach V his 200th A-10 win with a 9-6 victory over George Mason Sunday. UD got six runs in the top of the 9th of a 3-3 game and struck out 18 batters in the contest, including 14 from freshman starter Austin Cline.

The Bobcats won the series and the finale against MAC foe Buffalo at home on Sunday. In a 6-5 ball game, Ohio scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth with nobody out when a wild pitch allowed Mitch Longo to reach home from third after doubling.

The Falcons fell in both games of a doubleheader at Miami on Sunday, 7-5 and 4-3.  In game one, BGSU went down early 6-0 and was unable to make the full comeback, despite a four-run sixth. In game two, the Falcons tied the game up at 2-2 and went all the way to the 12th before a walk-off sac fly handed BG the loss.

ON THE BIG STAGE
Dayton will have three games televised statewide on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel this season. The Flyers played Toledo on March 22 already and will now play vs. Ohio on April 12 and vs. George Washington on April 22.
