WEEKLY PREVIEW
• The University of Dayton baseball team will head down to Lexington, Ky. on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. contesta against the University of Kentucky at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
• The Flyers enter the week with a 14-27 record overall, including a 7-14 mark away from home. Dayton already suffered a 15-2 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats this season, but will be looking to avenge that loss Tuesday night. Head coach
Tony Vittorio is in his 17th season at the helm.
• Kentucky is an SEC title contender this season, but is coming off a rough stretch, going 1-3 last week and falling out of the national rankings. The Wildcats under head coach Gary Henderson are 24-15 this year and 16-7 at home. Despite the success in Lexington, UK has lost four of its last five at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
WHO TO WATCH - DAYTON
• The Flyers are batting .242 as a team with 52 doubles, 18 home runs, and a .328 slugging percentage. UD has stolen 36 bases in 52 attempts and has drawn 127 free passes.
• Leading the way for UD is
Robbie Doring, who has a .283 average, eight home runs, 27 RBI, and 33 runs scored. Cam Silva has chipped in a team-high .289 average while
Nick Ryan has 20 RBI this year.
• Dayton's pitching staff has combined for an ERA of 4.52 and 229 strikeout compared to 151 walks in 358 2/3 inning of work.

Ben Polansky each have two saves to anchor the bullpen.
• The starter for Dayton will be left-handed pitcher
Mason Kutruff. The sophomore has a 2-4 record, 5.80 ERA, and 19 K's in seven starts.

WHO TO WATCH - THE OPPONENT
• Kentucky is batting .279 overall with 69 doubles, 32 home runs, and a .415 slugging percentage. UK has stolen 34 bases in 39 games and walked 132 times.
• The Wildcats are led by Evan White's .341 average and 11 doubles while Gunnar McNeill has driven in 34 with 12 extra-base hits. Riley Mahan and Tristan Pompey have added 23 RBI each.
• The pitching staff boasts a 3.75 ERA with 296 strikeouts compared to 120 walks in 343 1./3 innings.
• Tuesday's starter is TBA.
•    Defensively, the Wildcats have a .969 fielding percentage with 47 errors and 22 double plays turned.

LAST MEETING
Dayton and UK met earlier this season at the Spartanburg Classic on Feb. 21. The Wilcats powered their way to a 15-2 win over the Flyers, led by Kyle Cody's seven shutout innings on the mound and Tristan Pompey's four-hit, four-RBI performance.
LAST OUTING
The Flyers lost the series and the finale at home to George Washington 6-2. The Colonials scored all six runs in the third inning and Dayton was unable to recover.
The Wildcats prevented the series sweep at Arkansas with a 5-4 win over the Razorbacks on Sunday in game two of a doubleheader. UK scored two runs in the fourth and two more in the seventh to seal the victory.
STATISTICAL RANKINGS
The Flyers ranked second in the Atlantic 10 in hit by pitch and sacrifice bunts, while turning the third most double plays in the league. Individually,
Robbie Doring is third in the A-10 in home runs, hit by pitch, and fourth in total bases.
Zach Beaver is seventh in walks allowed per nine innings.
Kentucky ranks third in the SEC in home runs per game and fourth in overall home runs. The Wildcats are also second in sac bunts, fourth in hit by pitch, and fifth in walks allowed per nine innings. Individually, Dustin Beggs leads the league in WHIP and ranks second in wins, third in walks allowed, and fourth in strikeout-to-walk ratio.
