WEEKEND PREVIEW
• The University of Dayton baseball team will continue its break from conference play with a three-game series at Wofford this weekend in Spartanburg, S.C. The set begins Friday at 3 p.m. with game two at 6 p.m. and the finale Saturday at 3 p.m.
• The Flyers head into the weekend with a 14-28 record overall and 7-15 road mark. Dayton has lost its last two non-conference contests and will be looking to correct that this weekend in friendly confines. UD already played three games earlier this season at the Spartanburg Classic.
• Wofford comes into the series with a 25-18 record and 16-8 home record. The Terriers are amidst a four-game winning streak and eight of its last nine contests. WC is led by ninth-year head coach Todd Interdonato. Against common opponents, Wofford has wins over Kentucky, Stony Brook, George Mason, USC-Upstate, and Ohio.
WHO TO WATCH - DAYTON
• The Flyers are batting .242 as a team with a .331 slugging percentage and a .324 on-base percentage. Dayton has 53 doubles, seven triples, and 19 home runs to go with 36 steals.
• Leading the way for UD are
Robbie Doring, who has .276 average, eight home runs, and 27 RBI, and
Aaron Huesman, who has three home runs and 18 RBI.
• Dayton's pitching staff has a team ERA of 4.55 with 233 strikeouts and 155 walks in 366 1/3 innings.
• The starters this weekend will be RHP
Charlie Dant (2-4, 4.24 ERA, 20 K's) on Friday, RHP
Zach Beaver (2-6, 3.79 ERA, 38 K's) on Saturday, and TBD on Sunday.
• The Flyers have a defensive fielding percentage of .962 with 59 errors and 32 double plays turned.
WHO TO WATCH - THE OPPONENT
• Wofford offensively has a .276 average with 73 doubles and 22 home runs. The Terriers are amongst the nation's leaders with 77 stolen bases. WC also has a .392 slugging percentage and a .372 on-base percentage.
• Brett Hash is the main offensive threat with 42 RBI, 19 extra-base hits, and a .302 average. Derek Hirsch leads the team with a .336 average and 15 RBI also.
• The pitching staff for the Terriers has combined for 5.59 ERA with 353 strikeouts and 158 walks in 43 games this season.
• Matthew Milburn (4.25, 5-3, 72 K's) will get the start on Friday, followed by Adam Scott (7.64, 3-4, 53 K's) in game two Saturday and Jacob Condra-Bogan (5.47, 4-3, 43 K's) in game three Sunday.
•    Defensively, the Terriers have a .968 fielding percentage with 51 errors and 23 double plays.

LAST MEETING
Dayton and Wofford last squared off on Feb. 15, 2015 in South Carolina with the Flyers suffering a 9-7 loss to the Terriers. Cam Silva recorded an RBI for Dayton while
Sam Brunner was saddled with the loss.
LAST OUTING
The Flyers battled three weather delays in the 5-3 loss at Kentucky on Tuesday in eight innings.
Aaron Huesman finished a double short of the cycle while driving in a run.
Nick Weybright chipped in an RBI as well.
The Terriers picked up a 4-0 win over Charleston Southern on Tuesday on the road. Wofford scored two over the first two innings and added two runs later to seal the shutout victory.
STATISTICAL RANKINGS
The Flyers are ranked second in the conference in hit by pitch, third in double plays and third in sacrifice bunts. UD is also fourth in home runs and fifth in shutouts.
Wofford is 10th in the nation in stolen bases and first in the Southern Conference. The Terriers are also third in ERA, sac bunts, and second in strikeouts per nine innings.
