DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton baseball team will host Davidson in a three-game series with a single game Thursday at 11 a.m. and a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m. Friday. A Senior Day ceremony will take place prior to the first game Friday.
Dayton enters the weekend with a 16-32 record overall and a 5-13 Atlantic 10 mark. The Flyers are currently sitting outside the conference tournament spots, but a couple of wins this weekend could keep postseason hopes alive. UD has lost four games in a row and looks to end that skid at home Thursday.
Davidson currently sits in the last A-10 tournament spot with a 9-9 conference record and a 23-22 record overall this season. The Wildcats have won two their last three games after four-game losing skid. Head coach Dick Cooke is in his 26
th season at the helm of Davidson.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

LAST MEETING
	- The Flyers squared off against the Wildcats last met in 2016 in their first series as a member of the Atlantic 10. Davidson took all three games including the finale on April 18, 9-2. Dayton was outscored in the series 29-6.
 
LAST OUTING
	- Dayton dropped the series finale at Rhode Island Sunday, 5-3. Despite taking the initial lead, the Flyers gave up the deciding runs in the seventh, suffering a series sweep by the Rams. Connor Echols, Robbie Doring, and Sam Sustersic provided the RBI for UD.
 
	- Davidson picked up a 6-5 win over High Point last Wednesday at home. With two runs in the bottom of the 10th, the Wildcats earned a walk-off victory over the Panthers. Max Bazin and Sam Foy each had two RBI to lead Davidson.
