WEEKEND PREVIEW
• The University of Dayton baseball team will finish up the 2016 season this week against Fordham in a three-game Atlantic 10 road series. The Flyers and Rams play a doubleheader Thursday at noon and a single game Friday at noon.
• The Flyers enter the final weekend with a 18-34 record overall and a 7-14 Atlantic 10 mark. Dayton is 9-20 away from home this season and has lost five straight on the road. Head coach
Tony Vittorio is in his 17th year at the helm.
• Fordham goes into the series with a 26-26 record on the season and 12-9 in A-10 games. The Rams have defended their home field well with a 12-7 mark at Houlihan Park. Head coach Kevin Leighton is in his fifth season in charge.
WHO TO WATCH - DAYTON
• The Flyers are batting .246 through 52 games with a .340 slugging percentage and a .325 on-base percentage. Dayton has 75 doubles, 23 home runs, and 47 steals in 66 attempts.
• Leading the way for UD are
Robbie Doring, who has a .279 average, eight home runs, 36 RBI, and 40 runs scored, and
Aaron Huesman, who has three home runs and 26 RBI.
• Dayton's pitching staff has a 4.61 ERA with 287 strikeouts and 194 walks in 452 2/3 innings of work.
• The starters this weekend are projected to be RHP

WHO TO WATCH - THE OPPONENT
• Fordham is batting .255 this season with 113 extra-base hits, 216 RBI, and 62 stolen bases. The Rams have a .360 slugging percentage and .336 on-base percentage.
• Ryan McNally leads the team with 37 RBI, 10 home runs, and a .274 average. Mark Donadio has chipped in 29 RBI, 30 runs, and a .284 average.
• The pitching staff for the Rams has combined for an 4.37 ERA and 354 k's in 442 1/3 innings.
•    Defensively, the Rams have a .969 fielding percentage.

LAST MEETING
Dayton and Fordham finished off the 2015 regular season with a three-game series in Dayton last year. The Flyers took two of three games including an 8-7 victory in the series finale. Game two of the set saw UD pick up a 22-10 win over the Rams.
LAST OUTING
The Flyers are coming off a tough 14-4 loss at Wright State on Tuesday. Dayton scored a single run in the second, third, and fourth innings, but the Raiders had two or more runs in five different innings.
The Rams suffered a series sweep at Saint Joseph's last weekend including a 10-0 loss in the finale on Sunday. Fordham was out-hit in the game 16-5 and left six runners stranded.
