The Flyers Will Look To Carry Success Over From Their A-10 Championship

DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's cross country team will travel to Terre Haute, Ind. this Friday to compete in the 2017 NCAA Division I Great Lakes Regional meet.

The regionally ranked and two-time Atlantic 10 Champion Flyers are looking to have their best ever showing at the regional meet, setting individual and team records throughout this season.

The men's race begins Friday, Nov. 10 at 12:15 p.m. ET, following the women's race at 11:15 a.m. The event will take place at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, the location for previous national championships.

As a team, Dayton currently ranks No. 12 in the Great Lakes Region, reaching as high as No. 8 this season. The Flyers had first-place finishes this season at the Queen City Invitational, National Catholic Invitational, All-Ohio Championships, and Atlantic 10 Championships. UD has faced a tough schedule with numerous regionally ranked teams at Notre Dame and the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet as well.
