DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's cross country team held its annual season in review banquet on Sunday at the NCR Country Club in Dayton.
The men's and women's programs got together with families and supporters of the program to reflect on the historic 2017 season.

Jason Ordway and his staff hosted the event, passing out letterwinner awards and individual accolades.
The following individual awards were given out:
Most Improved –
J.P. Flavin, sophomore, Toms River, N.J.
Most Valuable –
Chris Negri, junior, Warren, N.J.
High Flyer –
Spencer Danielson, junior, Terre Haute, Ind.
The Flyers won their second consecutive Atlantic 10 Championship this season and recorded their highest ever finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet with an eighth-place showing. Dayton had four student-athletes named All-Conference in juniors

Michael Laughlin received All-Rookie honors as well.
Coach Ordway earned his second straight A-10 Coach of the Year accolade and picked another award up on the women's side this season as well. Also receiving Academic All-Conference honors were Negri and Danielson for their achievements in the classroom.
