DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's cross country team will begin its outdoor season on Saturday at the Stan Lyons Invite in Indianapolis, Ind. on the campus of Butler University.
The event will take place Saturday, March 18 at Davey Track & Field in Indianapolis. The competition begins at 11 a.m. with field events followed by the track events involving Dayton at 1 p.m.
The Flyers will compete against the likes of Butler, Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, IUPUI, Loyola Chicago, Illinois-Chicago, Wright State, and Xavier.
Dayton is coming off a strong indoor season which saw numerous personal bests, school records, and improvements across the board for the Flyers. They continue to carry the momentum over from their 2016 Atlantic 10 Championship cross country season into the spring meets.
