DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's cross country team will travel this weekend to Madison, Wisconsin where they will be competing in the NCAA Pre-Nationals 8K at the University of Wisconsin.

The race is scheduled to take place this Saturday, Oct. 13 at Zimmer Championship Course. The 2018 Wisconsin Pre-Nationals Cross Country Meet serves as a pre-cursor for the upcoming national championships which will be hosted at the same site on Saturday, Nov. 17.

This weekend, the Dayton men's cross country team will be participating in the Cardinal Race which is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The Flyers are entering the meet ranked as the No. 8 team in the Great Lakes region.

The season has provided the Flyers with numerous personal bests, career performances, and top-placing team results as Dayton continues to seek defending its Atlantic 10 title.
