DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's cross country team will compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday afternoon.

The 10K event will take place at 12:15 p.m. ET after the women's race at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course on the campus of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind.

The Flyers are coming off their third straight Atlantic 10 Championship two weeks ago and enter as the No. 9 ranked team in the region. UD finished eighth at this meet last season, ahead of their expected finish.

Dayton will go up against regionally ranked foes such as Eastern Michigan, Ohio State, Toledo, Butler, Purdue, and Miami.
