OXFORD, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's track and field team had its final tune up before the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships with the one-day RedHawk Invitational Saturday at George L. Rider Track.

  • Jenni Rossi won the hammer throw and the shot put and took third place in the discus. Her mark of 55.64m in the hammer throw is fifth best all-time at Dayton.
  • The Flyers had 18 PRs at this meet.

Head Coach Jason Ordway Quotes:
"The team had a great showing this weekend at the RedHawk invitational. This meet was focused primarily on sharpening for the conference championship next week. We were able to walk away with a bunch of personal and season bests, a podium sweep of the 1500m, and lot of confidence in our racing and fitness. Our student-athletes are feeling good about where we're at heading into the postseason. We'll shift our focus to completing finals in classes, resting up, and staying healthy."
