DAYTON - Due to overnight snow and low temperatures Saturday morning, the schedule for Dayton's Atlantic 10 series with La Salle has been modified. The Flyers and Explorers will play a single game this afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. followed by a doubleheader Sunday at 11 a.m.

Scouting La Salle
La Salle (9-16, 2-3 A-10) swept a doubleheader with Rhode Island last Saturday afternoon, earning a pair of one-run wins after Friday's opener was canceled due to weather. The Explorers were set to host Lafayette on Wednesday but their two-game set was canceled due to inclement weather. La Salle is led by Emily Conaway with a .312 average that includes 24 hits and 10 doubles (t-4th A-10) while Emma Schweigert has a team-high five home runs and is 6-for-7 in stolen bases. Marlo Roadcap has worked 68.1 innings in the circle for the Explorers, recording 53 strikeouts.
Series Stuff
Dayton and La Salle have squared off 53 times in a series that dates back to 1993. The Flyers lead the series, 39-14, and have won 11-straight meetings between the two squads. UD swept the three-game series in Philadelphia last season 2-1, 5-0 and 12-3.
