LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Dayton volleyball team continued its spring schedule with a trip to Louisville, Kentucky, for the KIVA College Spring Tournament on April 7. Dayton squared off against Michigan State, Murray State and Kentucky.
Rising senior
Margo Wolf had an outstanding day in serve-receive with zero reception errors in 28 attempts over three matches. She continues to serve as an anchor in the back row for the Flyers. Rising sophomore
Brooke Westbeld also had a terrific day across all three matches, including a .571 hitting percentage with five kills and 27 assists.
Match One
Dayton 1, Michigan State 1 (25-17, 19-25)
Notable - Dayton won the battle of the block 7.5 to 4.5, including six assisted blocks by
Sierra Pla.
Match Two
Dayton 2, Murray State 0 (25-22, 25-18)
Notable -
Lauren Bruns recorded 11 kills as the Flyers out-hit the Racers .284 to .180.
Match Three
Kentucky 2, Dayton 0 (25-19, 25-13)
Notable - Westbeld set 12 assists while Wolf passed 10 digs.

Dayton will close out its non-traditional spring season on April 21 at the Indianapolis Collegiate Tournament.
