Manda Cash has been named to CoSIDA's Google Cloud Academic All-District
® 5 First Team as announced by the College Sports Information Directors Association Thursday. This is the first career regional academic honor for the Flyers' all-time strikeouts leader.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees to be announced in June.
Cash, the 2015 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year and 2016 A-10 Pitcher of the Year, earned All-Conference Second Team and All-Academic Team recognition earlier this week in advance of the 2018 A-10 Championship. She has tallied 711 career strikeouts and currently ranks second in the A-10 with with 157 Ks this season. Her 1.47 ERA is the lowest in the league this season and she has worked 13 complete games so far this year. Cash graduated from the University of Dayton May 6 with a degree in English.
