NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their regional rankings Monday and kept the University of Dayton men's cross country team at No. 9 in the Great Lakes Region.

Dayton remains ninth after a pair of second-place finishes at the National Catholic Invitational and the Friendship Invitational this past weekend. The Flyers jumped into the rankings last week for the first time this season.

The top 11 teams stayed the same, led by No. Wisconsin.

The Flyers return to action on Sept. 28 at the 63^rd annual Joe Piane Meet hosted by Notre Dame.
