DAYTON –  The University of Dayton women's cross country team will compete at the 63rd Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational this Friday, Sept. 28 at the Burke Golf Course. Admission is free to the public.

The Flyers, currently ranked No. 13 in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Great Lakes Region, will compete in the Blue Division 5k race at 1 p.m. They will compete against nationally ranked teams: No. 11 BYU, No. 12 Furman, No. 21 California, and No. 22 Notre Dame.
The following USTFCCCA regionally-ranked teams will also be competing in the Blue Division race:
Baylor (No. 4 in the South Central Region)
Clemson (No. 12 in the Southeast Region)
Duke (No. 5 in the Southeast Region)
Eastern Michigan (No. 7 in the Great Lakes Region)
Florida State (No. 4 in the South Region)
Indiana State (No. 14 in the Great Lakes Region)
Iowa (No. 13 in the Midwest Region)
LSU (No. 11 in the South Central Region)
Miami, Ohio (No. 10 in the Great Lakes Region)
Northwestern (No. 5 in the Midwest Region)
Oklahoma (No. 7 in the Midwest Region)
Southern Miss (No. 9 in the South Region)
Temple (No. 9 in the Mid-Atlantic Region)
Weber State (No. 13 in the Mountain Region)
UD will also have men's and women's competitors in the open race which starts at 2:30 p.m.
