NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly cross country awards and recognized University of Dayton junior Kevin Lawson with his second straight A-10 Performer of the Week accolade.

Lawson led the Flyers to their third team title of the season as Dayton won the 2019 All-Ohio Championships. The Cincinnati native recorded a time of 25:39.5, a new personal best.

Lawson was also named A-10 Performer of the Week on Sept. 24 at after finishing eighth at the National Catholic Invite hosted by Notre Dame.

The Flyers have a break before returning to action on Oct. 19 at the NCAA Pre-Nationals 8K hosted by Indiana State. Dayton has won three of its four meets this season.
