Athens, Ga. – The University of Dayton baseball team kicks off its season this weekend at No.9 University of Georgia. Each of the three games will be streamed on SEC Network+. Go to the Dayton Baseball schedule page HERE for links to watch or listen to the games.

Junior Hunter Wolfe gets the Opening Day nod for Dayton, while Georgia will trot out sophomore right-hander Emerson Hancock to the mound to open the season.

The Flyers return eight position players that started over 30 games last season including OF Connor Echols, IF Takahiro Yamada, IF Brantley Johnson, OF Mitchell Garrity, OF Michael Cleary, C Bailey Montoya, DH Tate Hagan and IF Riley Tirotta.

1B Eddie Pursinger, 1B/DH Alex Brickman and IF Benjamin Blackwell are among the newcomers expected to make an immediate impact in the lineup in 2019.

Sophomore Aaron Ernst is scheduled to be the Saturday starter for the Flyers at Georgia and he will match up against Will Proctor. Sunday's started is TBA for Dayton, while Tony Locey gets the start for UGA.

Aside from Wolfe and Ernst, other notable arms that will look to carry Dayton in 2019 include Ben Hughes, Bryce Hellgeth, Corey Imbriano and Cole Pletka, among others.
