NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The University of Dayton women's soccer team was selected to finish sixth in the 2019 Atlantic 10 standings in a vote by the league's 14 head coaches.
• The Flyers went 8-9-2 overall last season. The Flyers lost in the A-10 quarterfinals to eventual A-10 champion Saint Louis.

Micayla Livingston is Dayton's leading returning scorer.
• Dayton has appeared in 22 A-10 tournaments, earning a berth every year the Flyers have been a member of the conference.
• The top eight teams will compete in the 2019 Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Championship. The opening rounds will be held on the campus of the higher seeds on Nov. 2 and 3. The top four teams will then advance to play at Saint Louis' Hermann Stadium in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 8. The championship final will be held on Sunday, Nov. 10 with the winner earning the A-10's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. All rounds of the championship will be streamed on ESPN+.
• Dayton plays its second exhibition match of the 2019 season Thursday, Aug. 14 at Eastern Kentucky at 1 p.m.
