DAYTON - University of Dayton men's soccer sophomore
Michael Adedokun and women's soccer junior
Laney Huber have been named the
Ohio's CollegeAdvantage Student-Athletes of the Week for contests during the week of Oct. 25-31.
Adedokun, a native of Eruwa, Nigeria, scored the game-winning goal in overtime after serving up the game-tying assist to earn Dayton a 4-3 victory over Duquesne at home on Saturday. The victory earned the Flyers the final spot in the upcoming Atlantic 10 Championship as Dayton will square off against Saint Louis on Nov. 6.
Hailing from Loveland, Ohio, Huber netted her seventh goal of the season in Sunday's quarterfinal match of the A-10 Tournament at home against Richmond. Her 61st-minute tally proved to be the game winner, her second such goal of the season.
Each week we will recognize Dayton student-athletes throughout the end of the school year.
