STATS PERFORM  – University of Dayton junior running back
Jake Chisholm was named a Stats Perform FCS All-American, it was announced today. Â He was named to the Stats Perform second team as the all-purpose runner
Chisholm is second in FCS football in all-purpose yardage (163.9 yards per game). Â He also leads the FCS in rushing attempts per game (23.5) and touchdowns per game (1.8).
A two-time First Team All-Pioneer Football League performer, Chisholm was also 2021 recipient of the Flyers' White Allen Most Valuable Player Trophy.Â
Chisholm led the PFL in rushing (103.3 yards per game) and scoring (11.0 points per game). Â Playing behind a brand-new and improving offensive line, he finished the year with 502 yards and 13 touchdowns over the last three games, all Flyer wins. Â
The Flyer co-captain is one of 25 finalists for the Stats Perform FCS Walter Payton Award, presented annually to the subdivision's offensive player of the year. Â In addition, the Pre-Med major was the 2021 PFL Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
This is Chisholm's second All-America honor and third national honor this year. Â HERO Sports named him Third Team All-America as its all-purpose runner. Â He was also named a CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American for the second consecutive year.Â
