DAYTON – The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association released it's Division I All-Ohio teams on Sunday, and five Flyers found themselves honored between the First and Second Teams.
Dayton had a player from each field position honored by the OCSA on First Team All-Ohio, as
Itala Gemelli was named as a forward,
Jessica Sheldon was honored as a midfielder, and
Mackenzie Lutz was named a First Team defender. A pair of Flyer juniors were named to the All-Ohio Second Team, as
Marlee Taylor was named as a midfielder, and
Laney Huber was honored as a forward.
Each of the five Flyers honored by the OCSA were also named to the Atlantic 10 Postseason Awards, following a historic regular season from the Flyers this year.
The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association is Ohio's oldest soccer association. Founded in 1953, it manages the awards programs for all Ohio's college soccer.
