DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team scored three first half goals and took a 3-1 decision in an exhibition friendly vs. Akron at Roger Glass Stadium this afternoon. The results do not count toward either teams' record and statistics do not count.

Kara Camarco got the Flyers on the board first in the 19th minute. Sophomore
Jessica Sheldon set up the goal with a cross into the box. Camarco settled it and finished it into the side netting.

Itala Gemelli, blocked a kick by the goalkeeper and promptly put away the goal.
• The Zips answered with a goal in the 37th minute. Becker saved the first attempt by Charley Kale, but Carly Pcholinsky put away the rebound.
