NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference released its All-Rookie Team for men's cross country Tuesday and recognized three University of Dayton freshmen.

The top seven freshmen finishers at the 2020-21 A-10 Championship were named to the All-Rookie team. Dayton had the top three individuals with Bryce Conley, Sam Duncan, and Matthew Sollenberger all receiving honors.

Conley was the second overall finisher for Dayton, coming in 29^th with a personal best time of 25:22.6. Duncan was right behind him in 30^th with a time of 25:24.6. Sollenberger placed 36^th overall, and also set a new PR with a time of 25:36.4.

It was a great showing for the younger student-athletes as they earned valuable points for the Flyers, who placed sixth as a team.

Dayton competed in just two cross country meets this past spring, placing first overall at Wright State as well. Conley and Duncan placed second and third overall at that meet.
