DAYTON – The University of Dayton football team will return to the practice field this weekend, with the bulk of the Flyer spring practice season coming after UD's spring break.
After a strong winter conditioning program, the Dayton football program will take advantage of some unseasonably warm weather and hit the practice field on Saturday, March 5 at 10:45 a.m. ET.
When the University returns from a week-long semester break on March 21, the team will hit the field in earnest.  The Flyers will practice four times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays -- for the next three weeks. Â
Dayton's annual spring game will be on Sunday, April 10 at 1 p.m. ET.
The Flyers will have a total of six full-contact practices among their spring practices. Â The dates are:
•   Saturday, March 26 @ 11:00 a.m.Â
•   Monday, March 28 @ 5:15 p.m.
•   Wednesday, March 30 @ 5:15 p.m.
•   Saturday, April 2 @ 11:00 a.m.
•   Monday, April 4 @ 5:15 p.m.
•   Wednesday, April 6 @ 5:15 p.m.
All of UD's spring practices will be held at the newly-turfed Jerry Von Mohr Practice Facility.
Dayton finished the 2021 season with three consecutive wins, ending up 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the Pioneer Football League. Â The Flyers return six All-PFL performers, headlined by two-time All-American and three-time CoSIDA Academic All-American
