Lexie Almodovar were named the
Ohio's CollegeAdvantage Student-Athletes of the Week. These awards are for contests held Nov. 13-19.
Hansen, who hails from Indianapolis, Indiana, had his second-consecutive 100-yard game in the Flyers' 45-14 win over Davidson carrying the ball 27 times for 162 yards against a defense that came into the game allowing 125.5 yards a game. He gained 34 yards in the first quarter, 38 in the second, 44 in the third, and 46 in the fourth. Hansen also caught three passes for 16 yards, including one for a five-yard touchdown.
A native of Noblesville, Indiana, Almodovar averaged 4.75 kills/set and 4.50 digs/set over two matches at the 2023 Atlantic 10 Championship on her way to be named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. In Saturday's 3-1 win over Saint Louis in the semifinal match she recorded 18 kills to go with a season-high 22 digs and three service aces. Almodovar followed that with 20 kills, 14 digs and two aces in the championship match, a 3-1 win over Loyola Chicago.
