DAYTON - The No. 6 seed University of Dayton men's soccer team will travel to No. 4 seed Davidson College on Wednesday, Nov. 8 for a 7 p.m. showdown in the Atlantic 10 Championship Semifinals.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton sits at 6-6-6 on the season and is unbeaten in its last nine games. The Flyers are still looking for their first true road win of the season, going 0-4-3 so far this year.

The Flyers are averaging 1.72 goals per game and holding opponents to just 1.39 goals each outing. Dayton boasts one of the most prolific attacks in the country at 18.6 shots per game compared to opposing squads' 10.4 attempts.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
DAVIDSON
Davidson hosts the Flyers with a 10-4-1 record on the season and was 5-3 in A-10 play. The Wildcats are 6-2 at home this year, but have lost two of their last three contests.
Head coach Mike Babst is in his fifth year at Davidson and is the fifth coach in program history. He came to North Carolina after a stint at Chicago.
Davidson is scoring 1.60 goals per game and stifling opponents with 0.87 goals against allowed through 15 games. The Wildcats are out-shooting opposing teams 12.4 to 11.5 and at a higher percentage.
Leading the Wildcats is Vincent Bennage, who has seven goals and five assists on the year, and Denis Krioutchenkove, who has added eight goals and two assists. Goalkeeper Lou Liedtka has made 15 starts with 47 saves and seven shutouts while giving up just 12 goals.
LAST OUTING
Dayton kept its postseason alive advancing on penalty kicks at Loyola Chicago in the A-10 Quarterfinals Saturday. The Flyers rallied from a first-half deficit and converted all five PK's to move on to the conference semifinals.
Davidson advanced as well after picking up a 2-1 victory over Duquesne this past Friday. The Wildcats scored in the 11th and 78th minutes while out-shooting the Dukes in the effort. Sai Tummala had assists on both of Davidson's goals.
SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and Davidson have met six times previously with the Flyers holding a narrow 3-2-1 series advantage. The two teams last faced off in 2021 with the game ending in a 2-2 double overtime draw in North Carolina.
SETTING THE STANDARD
Dayton enters the week ranked No. 2 in the nation in shots per game and 16th in shots on goal per game and corner kicks per game. The Flyers are also Top 50 in assists, goals, and points.
DAYTON IN POSTSEASON PLAY
The Flyers are heading to their 12th straight Atlantic 10 Championship tournament. The last time the Flyers missed out was back in 2011. Dayton also won the tournament title and NCAA tournament automatic bid in 2015.
CAETANO PICKS UP FIRST A-10 HONOR

Dario Caetano was named A-10 Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 23 for his shutout performance at Saint Louis over the weekend. It made it two straight weeks with A-10 honors for the Flyers.
JABATEH NAMED A-10 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dayton sophomore forward
Sidike Jabateh was named A-10 Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 16 after scoring three goals for the Flyers the week prior. He scored the game-winner against Northern Kentucky before adding the lone goal in the draw at George Mason over the weekend.
