Coach's Quote

We asked Associate Head Coach Kevin Gilhuly to talk about some of the standout performances in Akron.

"The amazing performances from Evelyn Albers and Raegan Ernst in the pentathlon and the 1-4 sweep in the 5000m with Abby Carter, Marissa Pritchett, Zoe Chappelle, and Emily Sreenan definitely set the tone for the meet on day one. We knew on day two that we were going to see some big marks and fast times. Lauren Santiago in the 400m adding to the top five all-time list was something Associate Head Coach Aaron Gordon was very proud of. Jadyn Haywood winning the 60m outright and Jayla Pruitt moving up on the all-time top five list in the triple jump were both very impressive. It's hard to name every athlete and their individual accomplishments because they just continue to pile in week after week. Abby Carter winning the mile in day two on the track was also a huge highlight for Assistant Coach David Dobson."
