DAYTON -Â The University of Dayton baseball team finishes off the home portion of the regular season with a three-game Atlantic 10 series against St. Bonaventure at Woerner Field at AES Ohio Stadium.Â
The schedule for the weekend has been altered due to impending weather forecasted for the Gem City. The Flyers and Bonnies will now play a doubleheader Thursday, May 11 starting at 12 p.m. and will play the final game of the series when the weather permits on Friday or Saturday.
All three games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

ABOUT THE FLYBOYS
- UD will honor 11 seniors prior to their final home game of the season: Keagan Calero, Omar Daniels, Nate Eselin, Anthony Hattrup, Ben Jones, Marcos Pujols, Jose Martinez, Alex Neff, Connor Sherwood, Ryan Steinhauer, and Nick Wissman.
- Five Flyers are hitting over the .300 mark in Atlantic 10 action, led by junior Carlos Castillo with a remarkable .386 average. Keagan Calero (.345), Ben Jones (.318), Matt Maloney (.306) and David Pedanou (.303) are also enjoying strong performances at the plate in league play.
- Since the second weekend of conference play, junior Carlos Castillo has slashed .352/.625/.410 with five home runs, seven doubles, 20 runs scored and 17 RBI. The shortstop has turned in many highlight-worthy defensive plays in that timespan, as well as started every game and stolen nine bases in 10 attempts. With a 2-for-3 showing against Butler Wednesday, Castillo pushed his batting average to .301 on the season.
- With Dayton's 7-6 victory over Butler on Wednesday afternoon, head coach Jayson King reached the 800 win mark for his coaching career, becoming the 27th active Division I coach to reach the milestone.
SCOUTING THE BONNIES
- St. Bonaventure is currently tied for 10th in the A-10 with a 5-13 league record and has an 8-34 mark for the campaign.
- The offense is hitting .255 as a group, led by Jack Putney with a .322 mark. Jackson DeJohn leads the team with seven home runs, while both he and Putney are tied for the team's best RBI man with 23.
- SBU posts a 10.33 ERA as a team on the season, while opponents are hitting .348 against them. Gabe Watts leads the team with three wins, while both Liam Devine and Ryan O'Connell lead the team with 14 appearances. Devine posts the best ERA on the team at 4.89, and has five saves on the campain.
