NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The University of Dayton women's soccer team was picked to finish second in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll, while fifth year defenders Alicia Donley and Mackenzie Lutz were each named to the All-Preseason team, the conference office announced Monday, Aug. 14.
Saint Louis earned the league's top spot in the poll, garnering 14 first place votes for a total of 224 points. After Dayton at No. 2 (202 points), VCU (199 points), Massachusetts (173 points), and Loyola Chicago (158 points) rounded out the top five.
Donley and Lutz both return to the pitch for the Flyers after earning first team All-Atlantic 10 honor in their senior seasons of 2022.
