NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – University of Dayton senior women's soccer player
Diana Benigno was named Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week the league office announced Monday, Sept. 25.
The midfielder continued her fantastic senior season this week, picking up an assist in the Flyers' 3-0 victory over Davidson and scoring the Flyers' game-tying goal in the 1-1 draw at Saint Louis.
The Beavercreek, Ohio native tallied her Atlantic 10-leading sixth assist of the campaign when she burned past multiple defenders and crossed a perfect pass to fellow senior
Madison Wilson for the goal.
Benigno tallied the Flyers' equalizer on the road at SLU on Sunday, burying a failed clear to knot the score and give UD a crucial road point.

Noel Blain as A-10 Offensive Player of the Week winners this season. The Flyers have won four Player of the Week awards this season, with
Batoul Reda also earning a Defensive Player of the Week nod.
