SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Dayton Flyers men's cross country team put together a historic performance Friday at the Meyo Invitational inside the Loftus Sports Center, on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Bryce Conley, Owen Pukys, Adam Jones, and Sam Duncan all set personal best in 5000m run, which featured 47 runners.Â
HIGHLIGHTSÂ
- Bryce Conley shattered the school record running a personal best 14:28.01. The previous 5000m record was set in 2018 by J.P. Flavin (14:35.1).
- Owen Pukys (14:34.91), also broke the school record held by Flavin and is now second all-time in the 5000m.Â
- Adam Jones (14:37.62), recorded the fourth fastest time in program history.
