WASHINGTON D.C. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team saw two individuals, fifth-year
Connor Bruce and freshman
Kyle McNally, earn weekly honors from the Atlantic 10 Conference this week, as Bruce was named Performer of the Week and McNally was tabbed Rookie of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

Bruce picked up a win in both singles and doubles in the Flyers' lone match this week, taking down Xavier at No. 1 in both. Bruce kwon 6-4, 6-1 in singles and rolled with fellow fifth-year
Matt DeMarco in doubles, winning 6-2.

It was another unbeaten week for McNally, who went 1-0 in both singles and doubles in Dayton's only match of the week against Xavier. The Algonquin, Ill. native won at No. 3 singles 7-5, 6-0 to improve to 20-3 overall in his rookie campaign and give him his 12
th consecutive win. He also teamed with
Ronit Hiryur at No. 3 doubles to win handedly, 6-2.

The Performer of the Week award was the second this season for Bruce, while it was the fourth Rookie of the Week honor for McNally.
