WASHINGTON, D.C. – University of Dayton women's soccer senior
Batoul Reda has been named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
It is the third time the Dearborn, Mich. native has won the defensive player of the week award from the conference this season.
Reda posted yet another two shutout week, bringing her season total to 12. The senior made eight saves in the Flyers' 2-0 win over Saint Louis, snapping the Billikens 48-match home-winning streak. Reda then stopped all three shots she faced in the Flyers' 6-0 win over St. Bonaventure.
The Flyers have won five A-10 player of the week awards in total this season.
