WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Atlantic 10 Conference has recognized University of Dayton freshman Addison Stephens as Rookie of the Week for her performance at the Bradley Pink Invitational on Friday.
 
The Mason, Ohio native ran 22:04.21 in the 6k race, which not only smashed her personal record by 59 seconds but also was good enough to put her in the Flyer record books with the 24th fastest time in school history. Stephens was the third Flyer across the line and the 14th overall freshman in Peoria as she finished 85th in the field of 205. As a team, UD finished 15th out of 24 teams in a meet that featured schools from around the country.
 
Stephens and the Flyers will hit the course again on Friday, October 24, at Fairborn Community Park in the Wild Bill Invitational, hosted by Wright State University.
